  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced any color
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and transfer to a slow cooker.
  2. Add kidney beans, black beans, crushed tomatoes, diced onion, minced garlic, diced bell pepper, spices, and broth into the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
