  • 8 ounces block-style cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1 3/4 cups confectioners’ sugar (sifted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugars until fluffy. Mix in pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla until combined.
