  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 4 oz. spaghetti or angel hair pasta, broken into thirds
  • 1 15 oz. can chili beans, undrained
  • 1 46 oz. can tomato juice
  • 1 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (for garnish)
  • Corn chips (for garnish)
  • Sour cream (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sauté diced onions in a large pot over medium heat until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in mild chili powder, broken pasta, chili beans (with liquid), and tomato juice; mix well.
