  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For Topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, followed by milk and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Pour in remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Gently swirl the mixture with a knife for a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
