  • 1.25 oz chili seasoning mix
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 cups macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1½ cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, chili seasoning mix, tomato sauce, and kidney beans. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. In another pot, melt butter and whisk in flour to form a roux; gradually add heavy cream and milk until thickened. Mix in mustard powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese.
  4. Cook macaroni until al dente; drain and combine with the chili mixture and cheese sauce.
  5. Serve hot with fresh parsley as a garnish.
