Instructions

  1. Prepare brown butter by melting it over medium heat until golden brown bits form; let cool.
  2. Blot excess moisture from canned pumpkin using paper towels.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: flour, spice blend, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.
  4. In another bowl, combine cooled brown butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup until smooth. Stir in egg yolk.
  5. Fold in blotted pumpkin and extracts.
